This chassis provides the “West Coast” style drivetrain in a very versatile package. No other similar products on the market allow for a fully custom configuration like the WestCoast Drivetrain.
This chassis itself is assembled using 2” x 1” Punched Tubing and Aluminum Gussets. Designers can configure it into a variety of shapes & configurations using nothing but a saw and hand drill. Users can easily mount any of the West Coast Products gearboxes & wheels using the provided Bearing Blocks.
2" x 1" x 0.125" Aluminum Tube Stock 1" Pattern (47")
90 Degree Gusset, Sharp Corner (#10, 0.098" Thick)
90 Degree Gusset (#10, 0.098" Thick)
T Gusset, Sharp Corner (#10, 0.098" Thick)
To hold the Bearing Blocks in place, we have provided cams which attach to the side of the drivetrain. These cams allow for the simple belt or chain tensioning that "West Coast" style drive users love.

The WCP Bearing Blocks provide a simple and easy solution to mounting bearings to a tube. Perfect for the "West Coast" style drivetrain, these bearing blocks provide multiple ways to accomplish the same goal: adding a slot to the tube for the more customizable Sliding Bearing Blocks, or simply clamping around the tube with the easier Clamping Bearing Blocks.

The Battery Box kit is one of the easiest ways to securely mount your robot battery to your chassis. The box can be mounted via any of its attachment holes or even sandwiched around a piece of 2”x1” tubing, and retains the battery geometrically with its precision-machined pocket and easy attachment strap. Alongside the battery mount are special features designed to mount the 120 amp main breaker and the battery cable connector, giving teams a strongly-attached, predetermined space for these commonly forgotten control system components. Loose battery parts are a thing of the past with the WCP Battery Box!
• Built in SB50 mount with security hole for connecting SB50 • Multiple mounting locations for Main Breaker Mount • Mounting holes work with any set of holes with 2” center to center spacing • Slots for battery strap • Mounts directly to Punched Tubing
The Cone Bumper Mounts allow teams to easily detach and reattach their bumpers. No more fumbling during inspections, repairs, or those last-minute modifications. Crafted from high-quality materials and designed to withstand the rigors of the arena. These lightweight mounts seamlessly integrates with your robot, saving valuable weight while maximizing durability. Ensuring your bumpers stay firmly in place during even the most intense robot battles

Swerve Drivetrains have grown in popularity throughout FRC, because of all of the advantages that come with it, such as allowing robots to engage in omnidirectional movement, without having to turn, have superior maneuverability, and increased traction. Each module also has its own motor for driving the wheel, which gives the robot complete control over the speed and direction of each wheel.
WCP’s newest generation of the swerve drive module, designed from the ground up to utilize the powerful Kraken X60 brushless motor to improve performance and remove complexity. This new design more versatile than our previous modules, and truly makes omnidirectional driving as simple as plug and play.
Supports 4" OD x 2" wide wheels
3 variants available: Standard, Inverted, and Thin
Corner and Tube Mount versions available for each option
On axis encoder mounting
Aluminum and Steel gears available for all gears
Single bolt removal for wheel swap
Motors easily replaced without module disassembly
Accepts common motors
Less parts than previous versions
No belts in any of the modules
One of the primary benefits of this configuration is that it allows for a much less complex drivetrain assembly experience. Simply cut four tubes to your desired length, and you’re just about good to go.

The image below shows recommended assembly instructions for one corner of the frame. While it shows the frame being assembled with both the Aluminum Tube Plug (WCP-0374) and the 90 Degree Gusset (WCP-1060), it is also acceptable to use just one or the other.
If you are assembling the frame with a gusset, make sure to install it on the opposite side of the tube from the Tube Mount Swerve X2 Module.
The Corner Mount Swerve is one of the mounting style used in the Swerve X2. This mounting style allows for much more space inside the drivetrain for other mechanisms when compared to the other Swerve X configurations.
WCP offers two different support plates to support Bottom Mounting and Top Mounting options for the Corner Mount Swerve X2 variations.
