## Bolts, Nuts, and Rivets

### Bolts <a href="https://wcproducts.com/collections/cnc-hardware/products/bolts" class="button primary" data-icon="list">Product Page</a>

\#10 bots are the best combination of strength, weight, size, and availability in most FRC applications, and for us, it just makes building robots easier. Button Head Cap Screws (BHCS) provide a low-profile hardware solution, while Socket Head Cap Screws (SHCS) provide a stronger, more strip-resistant hex socket with their larger head. The black-oxide coating increases strength and makes the bolts more resistant to corrosion, meaning you’ll never need to replace a bolt due to wear and weather. We also offer #8 bolts to interface with other commonly-used FRC hardware!

#### Shoulder Bolts

Shoulder Bolts are ideal for creating pivot points and smooth, repeatable motion in FRC mechanisms. Available in both low profile and ultra low profile head options, these bolts are designed to minimize interference while maintaining strong, reliable fastening.

<div><figure><img src="https://1911150060-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FByQLBt0bw4wTa9DDV1kH%2Fuploads%2FAu6zLnyx1q4UCb7xyGEu%2F10-32%20Rivnut.svg?alt=media&#x26;token=7e795517-12c9-49c6-ac0f-0b2f623a2db9" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>#10-32 Rivet Nut</p></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="https://1911150060-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FByQLBt0bw4wTa9DDV1kH%2Fuploads%2FJxhCOYUru1nIIWxsv987%2F1-4%20Rivnut.svg?alt=media&#x26;token=e7e3d13e-fc81-4ac9-8e32-b9375ef31262" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>1/4"-20 Rivet Nut</p></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Heat Set Insert

Heat set inserts are perfect for strengthening threaded connections in 3D printed parts. During installation, heat allows the insert to melt into the surrounding plastic, creating a strong mechanical bond. This process significantly improves durability and provides secure, reusable threads for bolts and fasteners.

<figure><img src="https://1911150060-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FByQLBt0bw4wTa9DDV1kH%2Fuploads%2FY2XioHHB6iDIfpRGh3Qv%2FHeat%20Set%20Insert.svg?alt=media&#x26;token=437d2f55-26d7-42ea-91ac-c0cd762f0f8e" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Screw to Expand Insert

Screw to Expand inserts offer a reliable way to add threaded connections to 3D printed parts without heat. When a screw is driven into the insert, it expands to create a tight, friction-based fit. The knurled outer surface enhances grip within the plastic, providing strong, secure threads for repeated use.

#### Battery Locking Washers <a href="https://wcproducts.com/products/batteries-accessories" class="button primary" data-icon="list">Product Page</a>

These washers use a wedge-locking mechanism to secure bolts with tension, preventing them from loosening unintentionally. When the bolt is tightened, the cams on the washers engage with each other and create a wedge-effect, which prevents the bolt from rotating.

### Vibra-TITE ThreadLocker&#x20;

Vibra-Tite Threadlocker is designed to secure threaded fasteners against loosening caused by vibration and shock. It provides reliable locking strength while enabling easy disassembly when required, making it the ideal go to for FRC/FTC. Vibra-Tite can be pre-applied on your bolts to be ready to use when needed. Need to remove a bolt? No worries, bolts with Vibra-Tite don't need threadlocker to be reapplied, simply put the bolt back in and tighten.&#x20;
