Bolts (Product Page)

#10 bots are the best combination of strength, weight, size, and availability in most FRC applications, and for us, it just makes building robots easier. Button Head Cap Screws (BHCS) provide a low-profile hardware solution, while Socket Head Cap Screws (SHCS) provide a stronger, more strip-resistant hex socket with their larger head. The black-oxide coating increases strength and makes the bolts more resistant to corrosion, meaning you’ll never need to replace a bolt due to wear and weather. We also offer #8 bolts to interface with other commonly-used FRC hardware!

SHCS

WCP offers a wide selection of nuts for common size bolts use in FRC. These can be used in various applications, including holding parts together.

Thin Lock Nuts

Locking nuts are used to secure threaded joints and prevent them from loosening under vibration or torque.

Rivet Nut

Rivet Nuts are a great alternative to their traditional counterpart as they allow for parts to be fastened together without having to access both sides.

Heat Set Insert

Heat Set inserts are ideal for 3D printed parts as the installation process allows for the plastic to bind with the insert. This strengthens the plastic immediately, resulting in a secure connection.

Screw to Expand Insert

Screw to Expand inserts are another way to introduce threads into 3D printed parts. The installation process and knurled surface create a secure friction fit.

Tube Connecting Nut

The Tube Connector Nut is an innovative and cost-effective way to create a threaded hole in tubes. It eliminates the need for other more costly methods, such as welding or flow drilling, and can be used to attach a wide range of rods and tubes.

All Tube Connecting Nuts are available in a #10-32 Bore and 1/4"-20 Bore.

Rivets (Product Page)

Rivets are the staples of the engineering world. Align two or more parts with matching holes, place a rivet in the holes, and pop the rivet in the rivet gun to fasten the parts together. To remove an installed rivet, just drill straight through it!

Our rivets come in:

  • 5/32" and 3/16" diameters

  • Grip lengths from 1/32" to 1/2"

  • Regular and High Strength models

Nut Strips (Product Page)

Nut Strips are continuous blocks of aluminum threaded on every face that provide users with easy and accessible threaded holes. These Nut Strips provide another way for teams to get creative with their mounting options!

  • 6" Long Aluminum Strip

  • 1/2" Hole Pattern

  • #8-32 & #10-32 Options

Clamping Shaft Collars (Product Page)

Axially retain items on shafts with thinner than normal shaft collars. These custom clamping shaft collars are designed specifically for FIRST ® Robotics Competition applications where space on an axle is important.

Don't feel like dealing with spacers? Throw a shaft collar on there, and hold everything perfectly in place. We've got collars for every common FIRST ® Robotics Competition shaft size, including the 8mm CIM output shaft.

Tired of hex broaching your own collars? We have collars for hex shaft, as well as standard round shafts.

  • 8mm Round

  • 3/8" and 1/2" Hex

  • 3/8" and 1/2" Round

Retaining Rings (Product Page)

The best way to retain shafts! Cheaper and lighter than shaft collars.

  • Low profile way to retain shafts

  • 2mm e-clips best used to retain small radial bearings and other small items

  • Ease of use

Sizes offered: 2mm, 3/8", and 1/2"

Washers

Battery Locking Washers (Product Page)

These washers use a wedge-locking mechanism to secure bolts with tension, preventing them from loosening unintentionally. When the bolt is tightened, the cams on the washers engage with each other and create a wedge-effect, which prevents the bolt from rotating.
