Blue Loctite (McMaster P/N ) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.

Step 9

Install the Pulley Encoder Hat using the #10-32 x 5/8"L Bolts. The step at the bottom of the Encoder Hat should sit flat with the 74T Main Rotation Gear.

Refer to the page for the correct Drive Gear for your selected ratio.

Step 10

Slide all gears and shafts into position.

Note that WCP-1614 and WCP-1615 come as a single unit pre-pressed together. This will be in the WCP-1614 packaging.

Be sure to have the steering washer in place on the Secondary Shaft, above the Rotation Gear. The omission of this washer will result in the Rotation Gear rubbing against the top module plate and bearing.

Step 11A

Press the 8mm ID bearing into the Bearing Block as shown below.

Step 11B

Use the #4-40 x 0.875”L bolts to install the Bearing Block assembly. The bottom of the Encoder Shaft should sit flat with the Top Plate.

Step 12

Mount the motors onto the Motor Plate as shown below.
