Tools Required For Assembly

These tools are required for the assembly of the WCP Stub Rollers

  • Snap Ring Pliers (For 1/2" Snap Rings)

  • Allen Keys

    • 1/8"

Assembly Instructions

The following sections will cover the basic assembly instructions for the WCP Stub Rollers.

The following section will use the Aluminum Stub Roller Hub (1-1/8" OD) for reference but assembly instructions are interchangeable for all the WCP Stub Roller configurations.

Step 1

The 1/2" ID bearings will be installed as shown below. The bearings should be recessed into the Roller Hub.

Bearings may be a press fit. Use an arbor press to ensure the bearings are fully seated.

Step 1B (Optional)

This step is optional.

The inside bearing can be retained in the Roller Hub Assembly using a snap ring. This snap ring is not necessary and is only intended to be used when the rollers will be used with a shaft running throughout. This will prevent the bearing from backing out during use.

Step 2

Insert the correct Stub Shaft into the Roller Hub assembly and secure this with the 1/2" Snap Ring. Refer back to the compatibility chart to ensure that the correct Stub Shaft is being used for the Roller Hub.

Step 3

Insert the assembled Stub Roller Hub Assembly into the Tube and secure using #10-32 x 1/4"L bolts.

Step 4

Thread the bolt through your desired mounting surface and into the Stub Shaft. Use the Stub Shaft Wrench to hold the Stub Shaft in place while tightening the bolt.

The table below will show what bolt to use for each Stub Shaft length. Lengths are determined using a 1/4" thick mounting surface, anything thicker than this will need a longer bolt.

1-3/4"L Stub Shaft
2-1/4"L Stub Shaft
2-3/4"L Stub Shaft

#10-32 x 2"L Bolt

#10-32 x 2-1/2"L Bolt

#10-32 x 3"L Bolt

The optional Snap Ring is a 7/8" ID Internal Snap Ring ().
