Blue Loctite (McMaster P/N 1004A12) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.

Bolt the two halves of the gearbox together using the upper two #10-32 x 3" L Bolts and 3/8" OD x 2" L Spacers as shown in the image below.

The lower two #10-32 x 3" L Bolts and 1/2" OD x 2" L Spacers will be installed when the gearbox is mounted.

Step 7

Install the motors with #10-32 x 1/2" L Bolts.

Only four bolts are required, but more may be added for extra security.

Step 8

The Falcon Pinions must be spaced out from the motor nub with at least one 1/16" Falcon Spacer. The Falcon Pinions are retained using #8-32 x 1/2" L Bolts.
