All Clamping Bearing Blocks are compatible with parts that have the .
The 2" pitch spacing is widely compatible with a variety of products, making it easier for FRC teams to design and build their robots. Allowing for standard #10-32 hardware to be used.
This configuration allows teams to opt for 1" From Center gears for lightweight or high-speed gearboxes, prioritizing weight and size reduction.
Because of the 2" width of the block, the slot is open ended.
The highlighted holes allow for a #10-32 bolt and 3/8" OD spacer to be used with either 1" or 2" tubing with out creating any collisions.

The 2.5" wide clamping bearing blocks are compatible with the WCP Cam (WCP-0882) in the 2" tall tube configuration, while all clamping bearing blocks are compatible with the Cam in the 1" tall tube configuration.
Minimum Cam Center Distance
Maximum Cam Center Distance
The Clamping Bearing Blocks can be used to make basic gear trains by stacking the blocks next to each other on any 2" tall tube.
The gear teeth for a center distance is calculated by adding the tooth count of both gears together. [Ex: 40 + 40 = 80]

Refer back to the Individual Components page to ensure that all necessary parts are located before starting assembly steps.
Allen Key - 1/8"
Blue Loctite (McMaster P/N 1004A12) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.
Slide the Clamping Bearing Blocks onto the tube. Make sure the tube has a clearance hole or slot for the shaft before assembly.
Make sure the arrows on the tapped and clearance bearing blocks are pointing in the same direction.
Make sure the arrows on the tapped and clearance bearing blocks are pointing in the same direction.
Thread the four #10-32 x 1.500" L Button Head Bolts through the clearance block and into the tapped block.
Longer bolts will be needed if you are clamping around tubing that is wider than 1".
In order to mount a motor to the 2.5" Bearing Blocks, use the two .375" OD x .125" depth c-bore holes.
The 2" Bearing Blocks are not able to have motors mounted to them.
All Clamping Bearing Blocks are sized to clamp around any box tube that is 1" or 2" tall. In order to clamp around 1" tall tube, the blocks must be rotated onto their side as shown in the image below.
All Clamping Bearing Blocks have a SplineXL ID. This means it is compatible with the WCP SplineXL Tube (WCP-0918).
All Clamping Bearing Blocks come with a 1.4" OD x 0.0625" deep c-bore that can be used to trap the flanges of bearings or bushings.
This feature is only compatible with bearings/bushings that are 1.125" OD, with a flange that is smaller than 1.4", and no thicker than 0.0625".
The 2.5" width Clamping Bearing Blocks (WCP-0592 and WCP-0593) both come two 0.375" OD x .125" deep c-bores that can be used to bolt parts directly to the block.
This feature is only compatible with #10-32 Button Head Bolts.
Two blocks (WCP-0591 and WCP-0593) come with an offset output. This means that when mounted to a 2" tall box tube, the center of the SplineXL bore will be offset by 0.0625" from the centerline of the tube.
This feature is only on the 2" tube configuration. The SplineXL output of all Clamping Bearing Blocks is centered for the 1" tube configuration.

The WCP Bearing Blocks provide a simple and easy solution to mounting bearings to a tube. Perfect for the "West Coast" style drivetrain, these bearing blocks provide multiple ways to accomplish the same goal: adding a slot to the tube for the more customizable Sliding Bearing Blocks, or simply clamping around the tube with the easier Clamping Bearing Blocks.
2" and 2.5" width, allowing for multiple simple gear trains
Clamps around 1" and 2" tall box tubes

The Sliding Bearing Blocks are compatible with the WCP Cam (WCP-0882). The minimum and maximum center distances between the cam and the block are shown in the images below.
Both the Sliding Bearing Block and the Gearbox Bearing Block have a 2" center distance between the flat head bolts.
