The SB50 can be mounted with a #6-32 bolt and nut or by tapping the SB50 to #8-32 and using a bolt. The SB50 that comes from the battery can then be secured with the second hole in a variety of ways. Teams can use their preferred method:
• Top most hole that a thumbscrew (tap the SB50) can be installed in • Run a zip tie through the hole around the connector from the battery • Run a large zip tie through the cutout for the strap and around both SB50’s
The Battery Box kit is one of the easiest ways to securely mount your robot battery to your chassis. The box can be mounted via any of its attachment holes or even sandwiched around a piece of 2”x1” tubing. Alongside the battery mount are special features designed to mount the 120 amp main breaker and the battery cable connector, giving teams a strongly-attached, predetermined space for these commonly forgotten control system components. Loose battery parts are a thing of the past with the WCP Battery Box!
• Built in SB50 mount with security hole for connecting SB50 • Multiple mounting locations for Main Breaker Mount • Mounting holes work with any set of holes with 2” center to center spacing • Slots for battery strap

The following instructions are the recommended method for assembling this product. The Battery Mount is designed to be a flexible product to work in many situations so teams may find an alternate assembly method that better fits their design.
Blue Loctite (McMaster P/N 1004A12) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.
Shown Below are some of the possible mounting locations for the Main Breaker Mount. If desired, the Main Breaker Mount can be omitted from the assembly if a different mounting solution is to be used.
The slots in the Top Plate and Bottom Plate are meant for the Battery Strap (WCP-0385), but a large ziptie can be used in its place.
