Basic Features
Side Face Hole Spacing
All holes on the .75” tall sides of the Tube Plugs are .5” from the end of the tube and have .5” spacing between holes. It is recommended to drill these holes using a CNC machine or other hole drilling fixture. If holes are drilled by hand, increase the drilled hole diameter to account for any inaccuracies.
Bottom Face Hole Spacing
Bolt C-Bore
All updated Tube Plugs now feature a Bolt C-Bore on each of the #10-32 threaded holes located on the bottom face of the block. This feature is designed to be used specifically with the #10-32 x 0.1875" L Alignment Pin (WCP-2115) and provides teams with an additional method of resisting slip and securely locking parts in place.
The Alignment Pin is designed to have a low profile, as shown in the image below. With the 0.1875" long bolt head protruding only 1/8" from the block, providing a subtle but effective way to lock parts in place.
