## Assembly Prep

Refer back to the [Individual Components](/welcome/system-and-structure/polycord-pulleys/general-info/individual-components.md) page and ensure that all necessary parts are located before starting assembly steps.

#### Tools Required For Assembly

These tools are required for the assembly of the Polycord Pulley.

* T7 Torx Driver

## Key Assembly Instructions

The pulleys can be assembled with or without the #2-28 screws. Shaft collars or snap rings may be used to constrain the slices. The screws are the recommended method as they will keep the slices together if they are removed from the shafting.
