# Basic Features

{% hint style="success" %}
The features highlighted below are found throughout the WCP Molded Pulleys.
{% endhint %}

## Hex Bore

The 24T x 9mm wide plastic pulley features a 1/2" hex bore and an integrated alignment notch to simplify the timing of stacked motion components. This design ensures proper orientation during assembly, reduces the chance of misalignment, and allows multiple pulleys to be synchronized on the same shaft with ease.

{% hint style="info" %}
The 5/16" pulley slice does not include an alignment notch, as it is designed to be used in combination with the 9mm wide pulleys.

### Bolt Circle

The Molded Pulleys feature a 0.875" bolt circle designed for use with the included #2-28 thread-forming screws. These screws cut directly into the plastic to create durable threads, ensuring a secure connection and long-lasting performance.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.wcproducts.com/welcome/system-and-structure/molded-pulleys/overview-and-features/basic-features.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
