Belt in Tube Elevator Block
Assembly Instructions
The following page shows the General Assembly Instructions for the Belt in Tube Elevator Block.
Vibra-TITE VC-3 Threadmate (Vibra-TITE) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.
Step 1
Bolt the four Alignment Pins into the Belt in Tube Elevator Block.
Step 2
Combine the Assembled Top Hat Elevator Block onto the block from Step 1 using three #10-32 x 1-1/8"L SHCS.
If the Corner Bearing Block is not yet assembled, refer back to the Elevator Corner Bearing Block Assembly Steps.
Step 3
Slide the Spacers, Needle Bearings and the pulley onto the Shaft.
The Pulley should be able to freely spin on the Needle Bearings.
The 15mm Wide Pulley shown below is not included with the Belt in Tube Block. The 15mm can also be swapped for the .875" WD Aluminum Idler Pulley.
Step 4
Drop the assembly from Step 3 into the Bearing Block. The shaft should easily fall into the slots on the block.
Step 5
Secure the shaft and Hardstop Plates using the 2-3/4"L Bolt and #10-32 Nut.
The Hardstop Plates shown below are not included with the Belt in Tube Block.
Do not fully tighten the 2-3/4"L Bolt during this step as it will help with mounting the block onto the tube.
Step 6
Drop the Block Assembly from the previous step onto the tube as shown below.
Step 7
Once the Elevator Block is in the tube, use four 1/2"L Bolts to fully secure the block.
The 2-3/4"L Bolt from Step 5 can now be fully tightened.
