# Belt in Tube Elevator Block

## Assembly Instructions

The following page shows the General Assembly Instructions for the Belt in Tube Elevator Block.

Vibra-TITE VC-3 Threadmate ([Vibra-TITE](https://wcproducts.com/products/threadlocker)) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.

## Step 1

Bolt the four Alignment Pins into the Belt in Tube Elevator Block.

## Step 2

Combine the Assembled Top Hat Elevator Block onto the block from Step 1 using three #10-32 x 1-1/8"L SHCS.

## Step 3

Slide the Spacers, Needle Bearings and the pulley onto the Shaft.

The Pulley should be able to freely spin on the Needle Bearings.

The 15mm Wide Pulley shown below is **not included** with the Belt in Tube Block.\
The 15mm can also be swapped for the .875" WD Aluminum Idler Pulley.

## Step 4

Drop the assembly from Step 3 into the Bearing Block. The shaft should easily fall into the slots on the block.&#x20;

## Step 5

Secure the shaft and Hardstop Plates using the 2-3/4"L Bolt and #10-32 Nut.

The Hardstop Plates shown below are **not included** with the Belt in Tube Block.

Do not fully tighten the 2-3/4"L Bolt during this step as it will help with mounting the block onto the tube.

## Step 6

Drop the Block Assembly from the previous step onto the tube as shown below.

## Step 7

Once the Elevator Block is in the tube, use four 1/2"L Bolts to fully secure the block.&#x20;

The 2-3/4"L Bolt from Step 5 can now be fully tightened.
