# Getting Started

## Assembly Prep

Refer back to the [Individual Components](https://docs.wcproducts.com/welcome/gearboxes/wcp-swerve-x2/general-info/kit-contents/individual-components) page to ensure that all necessary parts are located before starting assembly steps.

#### Tools Required For Assembly

These tools are required for the assembly of the WCP Swerve X2.

* Snap ring pliers (3/8")
* Allen keys
  * 1/8"
  * 5/32"
  * 3/16"

**Optional tools that may be needed:**

* Arbor press or deadblow hammer

Vibra-TITE VC-3 Threadmate ([Vibra-TITE](https://wcproducts.com/products/threadlocker)) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.
