Input Coupler Installation

The images below show how to prepare the input block when using either the Male or Female Hex Input Couplers.

If you prefer to use the direct motor mounting feature, refer to the Motor Mounting section for the appropriate preparation process.

Male Input Coupler

Install the 17mm ID x 26mm OD Radial Bearing into the Input Block. It is a tight slip fit and can be installed by hand or with an arbor press, if necessary. The bearing should be fully seated in the Input Block.

Next, position the Male Input Hex Shaft into the Input Block in preparation for assembly.

Proceed to the 1–3 Stage Assembly section for a detailed breakdown of the remaining steps.

Female Input Coupler

Install the 17mm ID x 26mm OD Radial Bearing into the Input Block. It is a tight slip fit and can be installed by hand or with an arbor press, if necessary. The bearing should be fully seated in the Input Block.

Next, position the Female Input Hex Shaft into the Input Block in preparation for assembly. Use the #10-32 x 1/2"L Bolt to secure the 1/2" Hex Input Shaft used in this configuration.

Proceed to the 1–3 Stage Assembly section for a detailed breakdown of the remaining steps.

The image below is intended for reference purposes and does not include the 1/2" Hex Shaft that mates with the Female Hex Input.
