1-3 Stage Assembly

Vibra-TITE VC-3 Threadmate (Vibra-TITE) is recommended on all bolts that thread into a tapped hole.

The following Assembly Steps show the Kraken X60 directly mounted to the Input Block as a reference. The Male or Female Hex Input Couplers can be used as an alternative.

Step 1

Install the Kraken X60 onto the Input Block using the #10-32 x 3/8"L bolts provided.

Then place the SplineXS Input Coupler onto the motor shaft as shown below.

The image below uses the Kraken X60 motor, if a different motor is used, refer to the Motor Mounting section.

The Male or Female Hex Input Couplers that were assembled in the Input Coupler Installation section can be used here.

Step 2

Place the Output Shaft into the Output Block using one of the two ways shown below.

Standard Installation

Insert the Output Shaft into the Output Block and use the #10-32 x 1/2"L Bolt to secure the shaft.

Nut Pocket Installation

Insert the Output Shaft into the Output Block and secure this in place using a #10-32 Pan head Bolt and #10-32 Nut as shown below.

Step 3

Combine the assemblies from Step 1 and Step 2 with your selected gear set stack-up to achieve the desired gear ratio. Each gear set should sit flush against the next. Secure the full stack-up to the Output Block using the four #10-32 SHCS bolts specified below.

Refer back to the Load Ratings Section for your desired overall gear ratio and the corresponding gear sets.

For 2+ stage configurations, install the gearset with the highest reduction as the first stage following the motor input.

For Example: Input Block -> 5:1 -> 4:1 -> 3:1 -> Output Block
