# PlanetaryX Mounting

## Input Block Mounting

The following examples illustrate some easy mounting solutions for the PlanetaryX using the Input Block. These configurations are designed to simplify integration into a variety of robot designs.

### Tube Mounting

The PlanetaryX can be mounted using just two #10-32 x 1-1/2"L bolts inserted through the clearance holes in the Input Block and secured with captured nuts seated in the integrated nut pockets. These holes follow the standard [1/2" Pitch Spacing](/welcome/frc-build-system/system-standards.md#id-1-2-pitch-spacing), making it a perfect fit for [Punched Tubing](/welcome/frc-build-system/system-standards.md#tubing) and other common FRC components.

The PlanetaryX can also be securely mounted to a flat surface using just four #10-32 x 1-1/4"L bolts, as shown below. This setup takes advantage of the Input Block’s integrated mounting holes, which follow the standard [1/2" Pitch Spacing](/welcome/frc-build-system/system-standards.md#id-1-2-pitch-spacing), making it a perfect fit for use with [Punched Tubing](/welcome/frc-build-system/system-standards.md#tubing).

## Output Block Mounting

### Tube Mounting

The PlanetaryX can also be securely mounted by using the two #10-32 tapped holes on the Output Block, as shown below. This setup takes advantage of the Output Block’s integrated mounting holes, which follow the standard [1/2" Pitch Spacing](/welcome/frc-build-system/system-standards.md#id-1-2-pitch-spacing), making it a perfect fit for use with [Punched Tubing](/welcome/frc-build-system/system-standards.md#tubing).
