Intake
Step 1
Press the 1/2" Rounded Hex bearing into the Intake Side Plate. Repeat this step for the other side. Be sure to press the bearing in from the opposite side so that the bearing flanges are on opposite sides of the plates.
Step 2
Install a #35 Chain 30t Plate Sprocket onto one of the Intake Side Plates from Step 1 using #10-32 x 3/4"L bolts and #10-32 Nuts.
The Printed Spacer is designed with a C-Bore specifically to meant to allow the spacer and bearing to sit flush against each other.
Ensure that the C-Bore is on the same side as the bearing flange.
Step 3
Mount a Bearing Retention Plate and Roller Center Plate using two #10-32 x 1/2"L bolts to the second Intake Side Plate from Step 1 to fully capture the 1/2" Rounded Hex Bearing.
Step 4
Press a 5/8" ID Tube Connecting Nut into each end of the 3/4" OD Standoffs.
Installing the Tube Connecting Nuts can be done using an Arbor press or a dead blow hammer.
The 3/4" OD tubes are referred to as Standoffs, as they are used to add rigidity to the intake and reduce sag or flex that could otherwise occur during operation.
Step 5
Install 1-1/4" OD Silicone Tubing onto the Rollers shown below.
We recommend spraying the inside of the silicone tubing and the outside of the round tubing with Simple Green or soapy water to make the installation process easier.
Step 6
Refer back to the Stub Roller Manual to assemble the WCP Stub Rollers.
There should be one 1-1/8" OD Stub Roller Hub and five of the 20t Pulley Stub Roller Hubs assembled.
Step 7
Mount the assembled Stub rollers onto the Rollers from Step 5 using #10-32 x 1/4"L bolts as shown below.
Step 8
Install the fully assembled Roller Tubes from Step 7 to the Intake Side Plates from Step 2 & 3 as shown below.
Step 9
Mount the Kraken X60 and pulley onto the Intake Side Plate using the 1-1/2"L Spacers and #10-32 x 2"L bolts.
Step 10
Install the 3/4" OD Standoffs from Step 4 onto the assembly from Step 9 using #10-32 x 3/4"L Bolts.
Step 11
Install the 1/2" Round Shaft and 1/2" Round Collars as shown below.
The 1/2" Round Shaft will act as the Intake Pivot HardStop and help minimize torsion that can be found within the assembly during use.
Step 12
Ziptie the Top Intake cover in place as shown below.
