Column
Step 1
Install the Bearings into the Feeder plates as shown below.

Repeat this step for the second Middle Plate. Be sure to press the bearing in from the opposite side so that the bearing flanges are on opposite sides of the plates.


Step 2
Fully capture the Bearings installed in Step 1 using a Bearing Retention Plate and Roller Center Plates as shown below. Secure the plates using #10-32 x 1/2"L bolts.
Step 3
Bolt the Column Plates from Step 2 together using 6"L Standoffs and 1/2"L Spacers as shown below.
Step 4
Slide the Rounded Hex shaft and the necessary belt & pulley along with the needed flex wheels and spacers. Make sure that the appropriate spacers are being used.
Belts and Pulleys should also be installed during this step.
Step 5
Mount a Kraken X60 onto the Assembly from Step 4 using #10-32 x 3/8"L Bolts. Ensure that the 12t Pulley and 100t x 15mm wide belt are also installed and secured as shown below.
Step 6
Install the Shooter Wheels into each column as shown below.
Install the 1/2" bearing into the Bearing Roller Center Plate and secure this using #10-32 x 3/4"L bolts.
The Detail View shown below is for the Right side of the Column. The same needs to be done on the Left Side without the 1/8"L Spacers.
Drill out the highlighted holes. The 3/4"L bolt must clear this and thread into the second Dearing Roller Center Plate.
Slide the 8"L Output Shaft as shown below and install the 4" Flywheel and Colsons as shown below and secure using a 1/2" Snap Ring.
Once the Snap Ring is installed, press in the 1/2" Rounded Hex Bearing as shown below.
The 18t Pulley and 60t x 9mm Wide Belt should also be installed during this step.
Slide the 8"L Output Shaft as shown below and install the 4" Flywheel and Colsons as shown below.
The 18t Pulley and 60t x 9mm Wide Belt should also be installed during this step.
Step 7
Mount a Kraken X60 and 18t Pulley to the Column Side Plates using 1-1/8"L Spacers and #10-32 x 1-1/2"L Bolts as shown below.
Repeat this Step for the other two Shooters.
Step 8
Install the Printed Hood Slots to the Column assembly from Step 7 using #10-32 Bolts and Nuts as shown below.
Step 9
Press the 1/2" bearing into the Shooter Hood Plate. Repeat this step for the other side. Be sure to press the bearing in from the opposite side so that the bearing flanges are on opposite sides of the plates.
Secure the bearing using a Bearing Retention Plate and a Bearing Roller Center Plate.
The image below only shows the Right Configuration of the hood plate, the same applies to the Left configuration.
Step 10
Install a 1" x 1" Tube Plug into each end of the Hood Rail using #10-32 x 3/8"L bolts as shown below.
Step 11
Mount the Printed Hoods to the Hood Rail from Step 10 using #10-32 x 1-1/2"L Bolts and Nuts as shown below.
Step 12
Slide the Hood Assembly from Step 11 into the Column assembly from Step 8.
Proceed by mounting the Hood Plate from Step 9 using #10-32 x 3/8"L Bolts and a 1/2" Snap Ring.
Repeat this for the other side of the Column.
Step 13
Install a Nutstrip onto the Column assembly from Step 13 using #10-32 x 3/8"L Bolts as shown below..
Repeat this for the other side of the Column.
Step 14
Mount a Linear Servo Actuator to the assembly from Step 13 using #8-32 bolts and nuts, along with the printed spacers as shown below.
