WCP offers a wide range of adapters for common FRC components, some of which include Hex Adapters, Inserts for your 3D Printed parts, 1/4" Square Bore Adapters, and 3/8" Hex Bore Adapters.
These adapters allow teams to create custom parts for their direct drive gearboxes. Removing the fear of stripping out the printed part's bore.
MotionX Hubs provide torque transfer for various items like wheels, sprockets, gears, and shafts. Enjoy the variety of available hub options such as 1-1/8" round or SplineXL OD, along with with 1/2" hex & .159" bores. And of course, all 1/2" hex bore hubs are clocked!
1/2" Hex ID x 1-1/8" OD MotionX Hub (Aluminum, #10-32 Clearance)
Available Sizes:
159" ID x SplineXL OD MotionX Hub (Aluminum, #10-32 Clearance)
1/2" Hex ID x SplineXL OD MotionX Hub (Aluminum, #10-32 Clearance)
1/2" Hex ID x SplineXL OD MotionX Hub (Aluminum, #10-32 Tapped)
Bearings constrain relative motion and reduce friction between moving parts.
WestCoast Products offers all the bearings most commonly used by FIRST ® teams, and also replacement bearings for all the "odd sized" bearings used in WCP gearboxes and assemblies.
Bushings are lightweight, low-friction components that take the place of ball bearings in low-load, low speed scenarios. While they’re probably not suitable for flywheels, intake rollers, and drivetrains, we believe they’re the perfect fit for pneumatically-actuated joints and some low-load rotary joints, like simple arms and pivoting structures. We like bushings because they are:
Lightweight, which adds up in weight savings when replacing bearings with bushings
Extremely cheap, sometimes only 25% the cost of an equivalent bearing
Toleranced for a clean fit with commonly-used FRC stock
Press-fit drill bushings are commonly inserted into jigs and fixtures to guide drill bits and ensure accurate hole placement. They are a popular choice for applications where precision and repeatability are important, such as tread-cutting.

These specialty bearings slide axially along a round shaft or tube’s length in order to achieve simple linear motion. Use a set of linear bearings to replace complex radial bearing stack setups and build sliding mechanisms with the strength and rigidity of FRC linear elevators for a fraction of the complexity!
While our linear bearings work with any shaft or tube material, we recommend thin-wall steel in heavy-use subsystems to decrease wear on the shaft while still maintaining strength and keeping weight low. Alternatively, having replacement shafts or tubes prepared for heavy-use subsystems utilizing linear bearings helps alleviate this problem.
WCP offers several different lightweight shaft stock options made from both 6061 aluminum (for tube axles) and 7075 T6 Aluminum (for high-strength hex shafts handling torsional loads). These shaft lengths are correctly toleranced such that they fit perfectly through bearings and hubs, without extra work.
Our aluminum spacers are offered in a wide variety of lengths in order to speed up your spacer-making process, or even remove the manufacturing step altogether! Each spacer is made of ⅜” OD aluminum with a 0.196” diameter hole through its center, acting as a clearance hole for #10 hardware and a tap hole for ¼” hardware.
Standoffs are like spacers, but the internal hole is threaded in order for a machine screw to thread into them for a strong and tight fit. Aluminum standoffs can be used to connect important components in your robot, and our variety of sizes gives you everything you need to make small gearboxes all the way up to large shooter hoods! The aluminum standoffs:
Are tapped 10-32 on both ends
Come in lengths of 2”, 3”, 4”, 5”, 6”, 7”, and 8”
Have a ⅜” hex profile so that users can use a wrench to hold the standoff while tightening screws
WCP offers several different premade output shaft options made from 7075-T6 Aluminum. These shafts are correctly toleranced such that they fit perfectly through bearings and hubs, without extra work.
