Q: Is the Hard Stop removable?
A: Yes, the Hard Stop can be removed if complete pin removal is required.
Issue: The Pin was not pressed far enough out.
Possible Solutions:
Make sure that you are tightening the Pin Screw until it reaches the Hard Stop.
Loosen the Hard Stop to push the pin out further.

The Combined Chain Breaker is being used as the reference for this manual, all steps are interchangeable with other .
Unscrew the Pin and Cup Screws to ensure that they will not be in the way of the chain placement.
Place the chain with the link that you be connecting under the Cup Screw. Secure this placement in place by lightly tightening the Pin Screw.
Make sure the pins line up with the pin holes in the chain breaker and the chain lays flat on the tool.
Tighten the Cup Screw to press in the Break Pin.
Loosen the Pin and Cup Screw to be able to remove the chain.
